Summary of Project

After almost 15 years, the owner of this Jackson Heights art deco co-op decided to sell her home. Although the apartment had over 1,200 square feet of gracious space and elegant pre-war details, the apartment appeared cluttered and dark. The owner got to work on reorganizing the entire kitchen. In the master bedroom we brightened up the space with lighter curtains, bedding and rugs. The accent wall in the formal dining room was changed to an off-white palette from dark maroon and the gracious entry foyer and hall way rugs were replaced with lighter toned patterned area rugs. The home office was completely overhauled with whiter walls and was staged as such with the home office furniture from the living room. The two large living room chairs were reupholstered and living room lights were all replaced with softer bulbs. The reading lamp is from Home Depot and the side accent tables were bought on ebay. The latest news on this apartment is that an offer was made over the asking price. Stay tuned for the bidding war.
